15 calories. Made with konjac root, which naturally contains fiber. We use Japanese matcha for its mild, earthy flavor rather than the bitter, powdery taste from other matcha candy.

The texture is soft, chewy, and jiggly. There is a noticeable matcha flavor without being too strong, and just a touch of natural caffeine from the matcha tea.

Questions, answered

  • A root vegetable Japan has been eating for centuries. Ground into flour and set into a jelly, it turns into a chew that's bouncier than a gummy and lighter than candy — mostly water and fiber, so a whole pack lands at 15–20 calories.

  • 4 grams per serving, from beet sugar. No high-fructose corn syrup and no sugar alcohols — so none of the gassy, stomach-ache aftermath other 'low-sugar' candies tend to leave behind.

  • Both. No gelatin, no wheat, no animal products anywhere in the bag.

  • There isn’t enough fiber in each serving for us to make a fiber claim, so we don’t. The fiber comes from the konjac root itself, not added fiber powders. It’s also part of what gives the chew its light texture.

  • The chews are heavy for their size and ship from our own warehouse, so a one- or two-bag box costs more to send than the snacks are worth. Three bags is where the math works out. Plushies ship separately, with no minimum.

  • Ten individually wrapped jelly packets, 0.56 oz (16g) each. The ingredients stay simple: water, beet sugar, real fruit purée (or matcha), konjac flour, and the food gums that give the jelly its bounce.
